Y’all have been hearin’ me talk about this new release, “Louder Than Music,” and I wanna take a second to introduce the man sharin’ the mic with me on this one — Tristan Jackson.

Me and Tristan go way back. Almost ten years ago, we met up for breakfast talkin’ about him maybe steppin’ into one of my music videos. He was workin’ on some acting projects at the time, and from that first meetin’ I knew he was the real deal — solid heart, good energy, creative soul. Since then, we’ve stayed friends, supported each other’s journeys, and watched our paths cross again in ways only God could’ve planned.

Here’s somethin’ a lot of folks don’t know — Tristan’s the one who made the connection between me and the late Nolan Neal. He’s the reason “Louder Than Music” ever came to life in the first place. Back in 2016–2017, Tristan brought Nolan into the mix, and together we created somethin’ special. Nolan’s voice, his heart, and his gift live on through this track, and I’ll forever be thankful for Tristan playin’ that part in bringin’ us together.

Tristan’s a multi-talented dude — actor, musician, writer, storyteller — and he’s got that rare mix of hustle and humility that makes people root for him. He’s poured his heart into every role, every lyric, every performance, and I’m proud to have him on this record with me.

“Louder Than Music” might’ve been written years ago, but the message still hits just as strong today — and Tristan brought that emotion to life in a way only he can. I’m honored to call him a brother, both in music and in faith.
