SMOZUS: The Album

There’s something different about making music at this stage of life.

When you’re young, you write to prove something.

When you’re older, you write because something proved itself.

SMOZUS isn’t just an album to me. It’s a reflection. It’s the sound of years lived, mistakes owned, faith tested, grace received, and purpose clarified. This record didn’t come from chasing a moment—it came from surviving seasons.

I’ve made a lot of music in my life. Party records. Hustle records. Records that captured where I was at the time. But this album? This one feels like where I finally arrived.

Not perfect. Not finished.

Just grounded.

SMOZUS represents the man I am now—still learning, still growing, but no longer running from who God made me to be. These songs carry gratitude, accountability, hope, and honesty. They’re rooted in real life: love, loss, faith, marriage, discipline, and choosing a better way forward.

There was no rush with this album. It came together through healing, through setbacks, through moments of quiet reflection, and through the encouragement of people who believed in me even when I was still figuring things out myself.

That’s why the music feels different.

Songs like “50/50,” “Amen,” “Somethin’ Bout Love,” “This One’s For You,” and what’s still to come on SMOZUS aren’t about chasing charts—they’re about telling the truth. About leaving something meaningful behind. About showing that growth is possible no matter how long the road has been.

This album is safe for the whole family because it comes from a place of responsibility. I know people are listening. I know my life speaks louder than my words now. And I take that seriously.

SMOZUS is legacy music.

It’s for the ones who’ve been through it.

For the ones still standing.

For the ones learning how to live better, love deeper, and walk with purpose.

If you’ve been following my journey, this album is for you.

If you’re new here, welcome—this is where I’m at now.

Thank you for listening. Thank you for growing with me.

And thank you for being part of this season.
