What’s up Kinfoke — Smo here.

A lot of y’all knew me as Big Smo — the country boy who hit the road hard, rocked the stages, and lived that loud life for a long time. I chased success, money, and everything that came with it… but no matter how high I climbed, I still felt empty inside.

Then one day, God got ahold of me.

He showed me that all the fame in the world can’t fill a man’s soul — only Jesus Christ can do that. I laid it all down and found a peace I’d never known before. These days, folks call me Smo, and I’m good with that — because the man I am now is all about serving the Kingdom, not the spotlight.

I recently sat down with the team over at Kingdom Chat to talk about that journey —the rise, the fall, and the redemption that only God could write.
