We have a magical shack in the back. It used to be a smokehouse, but after touring was cancelled in 2020, we had a lot of time on our hands at the farm. We decided to convert the smokehouse into SB's very own she-shed.
We tore off the old wood and I used it to build planters for Momma SMO's plants for Mother's Day. She loves having a piece of the farm right there in town!
We added the corrugated plastic and decks to the front and back. Several of our plants started their tiny lives as seeds before being transplanted into our big gardens. It's perfect for meditating, yoga, and a good hang in the back yard. With the help of my buddy, Matt Julian, I learned so many new carpentry skills. I also feel like being productive and building something ourselves was refreshing in 2020. It's been a great project for SB and me both. We love the she-shed!
