A lot of y'all have been asking about my momma. She's doing great. Of course not being able to socialize during this past year has gotten her down, but it always lifts her spirits to know her Kinfoke ask about her! She enjoys working on her plants on the back patio. Her favorite things to grow are tomatoes, herbs, and peppers, and of course an assortment of flowers. I guess you could say that's where I got my green thumb. We hang out and spend as much time together as possible. Back in February, we celebrated her 82nd birthday! She's happy to be getting back to her normal routine, going to church on Sundays and having lunch with her friends.
Of course during the pandemic, she wasn't able to get her haircut, but have no fear, for those of you that haven't read the book, you may not know-I attended barber school way back before I was rapping. When she wasn't able to go get her hair done, she asked would I mind cutting it. And now, a year later, I'm still her very own personal beautician.
